Its separate figure of 359,000 daily active Muse users concerns US iOS users, rather than a combined UK or global user base. The figures describe equivalent early launch windows at different dates and do not establish relative task quality or long-term retention.
Design and User Interaction
Mete Polat’s commentary describes a preference for Muse’s unified interaction design compared with switching between modes in other products. That is a commentator’s interpretation and experience, rather than evidence that every user finds one interface clearer or that current ChatGPT functionality has been comprehensively benchmarked. Meta’s own description presents Muse as accessible through its app and WhatsApp.
Technical Architecture and Privacy
Meta says the dedicated Muse Secure VM houses agent data and connected credentials, with controls on actions and service access. It says VM data and conversations are not shared with its advertising systems. The separate Confidential VM was announced as a future feature. An announcement of planned encryption should not be presented as a verified current security property or a finding that competing products lack safeguards.
